Art for anxiety relief (AFAR) group

Art for Anxiety Relief (AFAR) is a six-week support programme that runs for one hour a week utilising art as a tool to help manage your anxiety. Delivered by an artist, the sessions are designed to help you finding the benefits of art, while also using it as a tool to distract yourself from your anxiety and immerse into the pleasure of art. You will develop your understanding on how to look at art, develop a background into the world of art, how it functions and being involved in creating it and broaden both your knowledge and appreciation of the world of art. The programme is open to both Anxiety UK members and non-members.
