Anxiety UK is delighted to announce that it has expanded its comprehensive member benefit offer (as life starts to returns to the new normal), to include two further online courses – both of which are available until the end of October this year.

The two new courses – ‘Living Life to the Full during the Corona Pandemic’ and ‘Slow down and Be (a Mindfulness course)’ – have been made available courtesy of Anxiety UK’s Clinical Advisor, Dr Chris Williams, Emeritus Professor of Psychosocial Psychiatry University of Glasgow via his Living Life to the Full (LLTTF) online CBT service.  LLTTF teaches a range of life skills that are based on the tried and trusted CBT approach with the aim of improving wellbeing and resilience throughout the life.

Commenting on the new resources, Anxiety UK CEO Nicky Lidbetter said: “We are extremely grateful to Chris and his colleagues at LLTTF for continuing to provide their generous support and wonderful resources to our members.

“At this tough and challenging time as we adjust to new ways of living and working, every source of help and support for those living with anxiety, stress and/or anxiety-based depression is welcome to help those who need it through the difficulties that lie ahead.”

Dr Chris Williams added: “The pandemic lockdown has altered each of us very significantly. We are now being encouraged to slowly rediscover our previous lives, however this can be particularly difficult when anxiety prevents us getting back to doing the routine things we could do before March.

“These two courses cover key principles in rebuilding confidence, and facing fears in ways that we can achieve and build step by step. I hope Anxiety UK members find the two courses helpful.”
