What We Do:

Anxiety UK’s infoline service is operated by a team of dedicated volunteers and staff. Many of whom have personal experience of anxiety, stress or anxiety based depression and can offer practical advice and information on support services that are available. We can offer this advice to anybody affected by anxiety, stress and/or anxiety based depression, their family, friends, loved ones and professionals.

What You Can Expect:

Every individual who contacts Anxiety UK can expect to be treated with respect and understanding.

We are able to provide up to 10 minutes information & advice  through our Live Chat Advisory service (please note this is not a clinical/therapeutic service) and up to 5 minutes information & advice via our national infoline service.

This is a confidential service but if you inform us that you, or anybody else, is at risk of serious harm, we made need to notify someone else.

Misuse and Abuse of Services:

Anxiety UK will not tolerate abuse of its staff, volunteers or services of any kind.

We define abuse as (but not limited to) verbal abuse and swearing, online trolling, threats, intimidation, harassment or stalking, offensive language or behaviour related to a person’s, race, gender, nationality, religion, disability, age or sexual orientation, inappropriate sexual language or behaviour.

The use of offensive, abusive or explicit language will not be tolerated and services will be terminated at our discretion with or without prior warning.
