Anxiety disorders are extremely common, often debilitating conditions to suffer from. Recent estimates suggest that 1 in 4 people will be affected by anxiety over the course of the year.
Anxiety UK strives to improve the quality of life for anyone affected by anxiety disorders by providing a range of services. We rely on the generosity of our supporters and members to continue this valuable work, and we need your support today.
There are many ways you can help to support our work, including fundraising and making a one-off or regular donation.
There are literally hundreds of fundraising events going on around the country each year. Events that you can get involved with include:
- The London Marathon
- Leeds half marathon
- Three peaks challenge
- Great Manchester run
Other things you can do to raise money and help support the Anxiety UK include doing a:

Once you have chosen what you want to do, its time to get started with your fundraising. Don’t worry if you haven’t done anything like this before. Most fundraisers will also want to set up a Just Giving page to collect donations online securely. Just Giving is a great way of raising funds as you can share your page with friends and family and they can donate online at the click of a button. It is very easy and quick to set up.

Publicise your event
Once you have confirmed any fundraising events you are doing with us, our Communications Officer will ensure that they promote your activities via our social media channels. We have over 50K followers on Twitter and over 8K followers on Facebook- we will make your efforts known to many! Please ensure that you have set up a Just Giving page, so that we are able to plug your personalised fundraising page to help you raise as much money as possible.
