Anxiety conditions are extremely common and often debilitating. Recent estimates suggest that 1 in 5 people will be affected by anxiety each year. Anxiety UK strives to improve the quality of life for anyone affected by anxiety, stress or anxiety-based depression by providing a range of services. We rely on the generosity of our supporters and members to continue this valuable work, and we need your support today.

There are hundreds of fundraising events around the country each year. Some of the things you can do to raise money for our charity include:

Enter our Anxiety UK Zoom Photograph Competition!

Fundraisers play a hugely important part in supporting the work we do at Anxiety UK, supporting people living with anxiety, stress and/or anxiety-based depression. Here’s your chance to support us by entering our photograph competition for the chance to see your image/s used as a Zoom background that will be made available for others to use.

To enter and to support Anxiety UK and help us to make the despair caused by anxiety a thing of the past we ask for a minimum donation of £1.00. Any images that are submitted must have been taken by yourself or made the image and therefore you must own it. The theme of the competition is calmness and serenity, so your photos must reflect this. We will choose the top 5 images which will then be made available to others for a minimum donation of £10.00 to use on their Zoom backgrounds!


Closing date 31st March 2021. In order to enter, your images must have been checked to ensure they are compatible with Zoom. By entering our competition you are giving your consent and giving us the right to make the images available for others to use. In addition you consent to us promoting images online and on social media. To enter we ask for a minimum donation of £1.00. Chosen images that will be made available for use on Zoom will be available for a minimum donation of £10.00.

    Baking can be extremely calming. Like other mindfulness techniques, it helps you to focus on something different - smell and taste. The act of mixing ingredients can be a relaxing experience in itself. And you’ll gain the added satisfaction of having created something new - and then eating it!
