The Digital Online Therapy Service (DOTS) is a quick and easy way to access the support you need.

How does online therapy work?

With our online service you will have a number of ways to access and speak to your therapist depending on your need, availability, what is convenient for you and what method of communication you prefer.

You can:

  • Speak over the phone
  • Video conference call

With DOTS you will also receive reading materials and tools to supplement your session. You will have direct access to your notes and further reading recommendations through your account and profile.

How quickly can I see a therapist?

We understand that it is often important to be able to see a therapist quickly, it is for this reason we have added the DOTS to ensure that everyone has access to a leading and accredited therapist when they need one most. How much will the therapy cost?

The costs for DOTS 30 minute sessions are as follows:

Daytime sessions 8am to 6pm £40 for 30 minutes
Evening sessions 6pm until 12am £50 for 30 minutes
What are the benefits of online therapy?

Ongoing Support: After your session, your notes and further reading recommendations can be accessed through your account any time you wish to read over them. You can book more than one an appointment with the same therapist, either through the DOTS service or you can choose to receive ongoing
support with them through our reduced-cost therapy service if you become a member of Anxiety UK.

Who are your therapists and are they qualified?

All our therapists are licensed, experienced, and accredited to provide a service with us and have been DBS background checked. We have a strict approval process for therapists and a training programme for the therapists to undergo before offering sessions through the DOTS.

Does my information remain private?

Yes, all your personal data and session records are stored securely within the DOTS platform and is accessible only by your therapist and yourself.
