Welcome to the Anxiety UK professional resources page. If you are looking for help and support for your clients at Anxiety UK we have a range of free self help guides that can be downloaded below.

Anxiety UK provides a range of services that may be of interest to your clients. Some of these include one to one therapy, our national helpline and volunteering program as well as our successful Manchester based peer mentoring service. Clients can re-refer into any service, but if you would like to discuss things prior to their referral please call 0161 2267727.

Therapy services

Anxiety UK provides 121 therapy for clients accross the UK. For detailed information as to the location of our therapy services please click here.

Our therapy services are carried out by reputable therapists who have been thoroughly checked for competence and all have professional indemnity insurance and up to date criminal record checks. We try to ensure that therapy services are affordable by setting a means tested fee scale. The fee scale comprises:

Initial £30 payment to join Anxiety UK as a therapy member

Anxiety UK Peer Mentoring service

Anxiety UK also has a free to access peer mentoring service funded by the Big Lottery Fund reaching communities grant. This scheme pairs indviduals with anxiety and depression with others who have recovered for support in accessing their community more fully and working towards goals around employment, training and further volunteering. Both Mentor and Mentee work together for 6 months, and appointments are carried out in local community venues, or the clients home initially in the case of individuals who have trouble getting out.
