Student Memberships

Moving into higher education can be very exciting! You are potentially leaving home and gaining a lot more freedom. You’ll be entering a new world where you’ll have the opportunity to make new friends, try new things, join amazing societies and develop a sense of independence.

At the same time, all of these changes can be fairly daunting. It’s completely normal to have some apprehension about these sudden changes which are happening in your life. It’s completely reasonable also to experience some anxiety in response to these changes. Anxiety UK’s Student Memberships are available to students in full time education (who have an NUS/Student card).

What do I get as a member?

Student memberships are £25 for the year and are available to those in full time university education.

Accessing Therapy

Your Anxiety UK membership grants you access to reduced cost therapies (including Clinical Hypnotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Counselling and Acupuncture).  Once you have applied for your therapy you will be contacted by a therapist and seen within 2 weeks.

How much will my therapy cost?

Once you have joined as a student membership, you will then be entitled to access reduced cost therapy. The cost of your therapy session swill depend on your living arrangements.

For Students living Independently in full time education

  • Therapy session will be charged at £20 per session face-to-face, via phone or webcam

For Students living at home in full time education
