Above all, membership offers a community of like minded people who provide support and understanding for anyone experiencing problems as a result of anxiety.
Anxiety UK is the nation’s leading anxiety disorders charity. We pride ourselves on being user led. Our staff and volunteer team are made up of individuals with personal experience of anxiety. You can get involved by becoming a member of Anxiety UK.
Why join Anxiety UK?
“My name is Joanne and I have been a member of Anxiety UK for over 10 years. I joined because I was feeling so isolated and frightened and just needed to make contact with people who understood how I was feeling. I suffer from social anxiety and I needed to know that what I had wasn”t something that was unheard of and I couldn”t be helped. As soon as I became a member I felt as though someone had put a reassuring arm around my shoulders and I”ve continued to benefit from Anxiety UK”s knowledge and understanding ever since.”
